We’ve all been there. It never fails to happen, and it always happens when you least expect it.

No matter who we are, where we work, or what our title is, from time to time the people around us at work say and do things that upset us, annoy us, and even distress us.

We get caught by other people’s poor behaviour, to the point that we don’t know how to respond – in part because we don’t want to make the situation worse.

These poor behaviours can affect us, our colleagues, our team, our organization, and at times even our job security.
